ARTWALK 2023 WRAP-UP
A beautiful early-fall day was enjoyed by the community and our artists, vendors, musicians, and volunteers.
Over 40 local artists took part in Artwalk featuring everything from fashion to fine art. There was something for everybody this year including local favorites Kait Harris and Lisa Hudson. Kait’s commissioned piece was featured on an exclusive poster for the event and new notecard sets that were for sale at the V&E Greenline merchandise table this year and were super-popular! The 2023 Holiday Ornament was also featured.
We also released our first-ever logo tee-shirt in short and long sleeves which were also a big hit. All of the new items will be added to our store this week.
Music from Jeff Hulett and the Church Brothers kept things going throughout the afternoon. Hot and Heavy Dogs and Memphis AF Burritos handled the nosh-needs and of course - the Tipsy Trailer was on-site pouring drinks and selling beers.
With perfect weather and so much to see and do during the day, Artwalk was a big hit this year. Special thank you’s go out to our sponsors and volunteers, the VECA Board, the Greenline Committee, and to the super-duper neighbors across the street who went above and beyond for the event.

Artwalk wouldn’t be complete without the Jan Kirby Best of Artwalk Award. In addition to the top award, two Awards of Excellence were also presented. Local artists pre-judged each artist and then judged on-site to select the winners:
