Love to Garden or Want to Learn?

On Saturdays between 9am-11am (weather permitting), the Idlewild Garden needs volunteers to help tend it. Gardening tasks vary throughout the spring, summer, and fall but will always include some weeding, deadheading of flowers, mulching, and watering.

This is a great way to have fun and meet neighbors — and no gardening experience or tools are necessary. Just show up and introduce yourself (and bring your gloves if you like). The garden is located on the trail between McLean and Auburndale. Street parking is available. See you there!
