Our local wildlife waterway is both a habitat for nature's creatures and, unfortunately, filled with trash. Let's come together on Sunday, March 23rd to clean up this special place for our feathered friends as they prepare homes for the soon-to-arrive chicks, nestlings, and fledglings!
Meet at the Lick Creek Bridge on the V&E Greenline between Evergreen and Auburndale at 10am. We'll provide long gloves, trash grabbers, and garbage bags. Since we'll be going into the creek, wear boots or shoes you don't mind getting dirty. Long pants are necessary - while we'll be careful, remember that snapping turtles and snakes also call this habitat home.
You must be able to climb up and down uneven terrain.
