Artwalk Featured Poster Artist
Artwalk has selected a local artist with connections to the trail as our featured poster artist. Our poster is designed to highlight the interpretation of the trail and grounds as presented by the artist and of Artwalk.
A limited edition of signed and numbered 16” by 20” posters will be available to purchase during Artwalk at our merchandise table
along with 11” by 14” prints of the original. We will have the original piece available at our Silent Auction.

Lance david white
Lance is a local Memphis artist that has been a part of the V&E Greenline Artwalk from our first year.
As an artist, Lance makes art because the processes and techniques bring him happiness. He loves the sense of pride he feels when he’s seen or imagined something, and then can produce it as an object.
His goal is to develop artwork worth studying, pieces that provoke feelings of joy, and perhaps even inspire collecting. His work usually depicts iconic objects, images from nature, and sometimes landscapes.
Lance David White states “My inspirations come from life’s observations, dreams, and sometimes materials. I love color and texture. Some of my work involves mixed materials, and more than one type of technique. I really appreciate the depth I can achieve by layering. My current works incorporate found objects, repurposed surfaces, and recycled materials.”
Lance likes to use surprise, humor, and irony in his imagery. Often you can sense a touch of attitude or emotion in his work. “I hope positive feelings are a result when people see my work.”
