Thank you to everyone that attended this year’s Artwalk! It was a beautiful day filled with art along the V&E Greenline. 50 local artists participated this year with many first-time artists among them.
This year - in honor of Jan Kirby, the driving force behind the Artwalk for many years - a special “Best of Show” winner was selected. This year’s winner was The Willow Stone Farm - producers of artisan natural products, teas, tinctures, oils, and herbal medicines. Willow Stone Farm best reflected the spirit and qualities that have made Artwalk into what it means in our community.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of the artists that participated this year, after being postponed in 2020. You truly make Artwalk what it is.
Our sponsors this year deserve a big thanks for sticking with us and supporting our event:
Crosstown Concourse | Church Health | Buckman Cares | Crosstown Dental Group
Joe Spake inCity Realty | Dr. Jeff Warren | Connie & Hurley Shepherd
Vollintine Evergreen Community Association
Wiseacre Brewing | Polo Wines & Liquor
And our partners:
Eat Good Groceries | MemPops | West TN Print and Trade Co.
Finally, we cannot begin to thank all of the volunteers who worked on Artwalk this year - before, during, and after the event. it takes a great team to put on an event like Artwalk each year and this year was no different. A huge thank you goes out to this year’s Artwalk Chair Joshua First for bringing the team together, spending a bajillion hours on emails, and getting the job done.
The purpose of Artwalk is simple - it raises money for the needs of the V&E Greenline and you all have helped us do that.
