May 1, 2010 Heavy Rain and Flooding

  In the early morning of May 1, Memphis received several inches of rain leading to severe flooding in some areas.  Below are a few pictures of the flooding at or near the Greenline.

Hawthorne and Greenline

Lick Creek Bridge (near Evergreen).  Though not checked, the water would have been well above the bridge earlier in morning (A similar bridge to the one in the background of this picture was completely covered by Lick Creek).
